Film Course Campaigns
OSE values children’s education and promotes diverse cultures, including arts, social sciences, and humanities. We collaborated with the Kaohsiung Film Archive to tour schools and offer “Film Electives” and designed several film courses to support the curriculum. Selected films for screening focused on outstanding short films from Taiwan as we aimed to integrate “visual literacy” into “arts and humanities” at all levels of education. With the guidance of instructors, students watched short films and engaged in postscreening discussions and analyses, which helped them understand the aesthetics and
production elements of film while expanding their perspectives through active participation and appreciation.
In 2023, film courses were held at Jing-Yi Elementary School, Neimen, with a total of 41 participants.
Giving Back to Society
Youth Art - Great Harbor Corporate Sustainable Art Creation Project
OSE leverages its influence to collaborate with different civic organizations and provide Resource. To support the development and incubation of youth art, in 2022, OSE and young artists worked together on Youth Artistic (YART) Power – Dagang Corporate Sustainability & Renewable Art Project, which OSE provided waste from production and discarded circuit boards to young artists. With these materials, young artists created four artworks, one of which – “The Voice of Nature” – was selected for first prize at the 2022 Young Artist Award. The project gave young artists a platform to create with compound materials and re-interpret, recreate, and inject new life into waste materials. By integrating Resource from local companies to promote culture and support the arts, the project inspired the public to consider environmental issues within society, raising awareness for sustainable development and striking a balance between corporate growth and
sustainable operations.
“OSE Refresh” A One-day Secondhand Charity Booth Was Held by OSE to Raise Aids
In the end of November 2023, OSE planned a recycling market event, setting a one-day charity booth to sell secondhand goods, also gave old things new life and promote the environmentally friendly concept and charity. In this event, OSE has raised a total of 35,420 NT dollars, and all the amount was donated to the Eden Social Welfare Foundation, aiding the service program for people with disabilities. In addition to the funds, 10 boxes of unsold supplies were also donated to Syin-Lu Social Welfare Foundation for further use. OSE is dedicated to take up our corporate social responsibility, improve the well-being of the society.

Beach Cleanup Campaign
2023 Team Won First Place in the Beach Cleanup Activity at Kezailiao, Ziguan District
“OSE Baby Team” represented OSE(Orient Semiconductor Electronics) to join the beach cleanup activity “Start Beach Cleaning for a More comfortable Environment” at Kezailiao, Ziguan District. “OSE Baby Team” consisted of 25 Volunteers from different departments, rounded at 8 to collect 104 kilograms of waste which was around 20% of the total waste during the activity and thus we got the first prize!
2023 “Hello, Chikan”
On October 28, OSE held the“Hello, Chikan” embankment cleaning event. More than 50 employees and their family members set out to clean the embankment in Chikan, Ziguan, in Kaohsiung. OSE staffs collaborated with local communities and volunteers to remove marine waste, and the results were impressive: a total of 70 kilograms of waste were removed, demonstrating OSE‘s environmentally friendly spirit. In additio, OSE also invited and worked with local leaders and merchants to conduct local activities such as community tours and fish ball handicrafts. We will keep promote the concept of social inclusion and local consumption, to meet our company’s vision of achieving ESG.
2023 Arbor Day Event
In 2023, OSE continued to join hands with local community and the I Plant for Life Corporation Aggregate to hold DIY seed planting events and lectures. We also sent Taiwan native tree saplings free of charge to our suppliers and neighboring communities to promote environmental friendliness. This year, we also held an invoice donation activity. Those who donate invoice can exchange tree saplings, and a total of 350 saplings were distributed. A seminar was held three months later to track the health of the planted saplings to support their growth.
