Appraisals are unbiased regardless of gender, race, religion, political preferences, marital status, or union membership and evaluate only the personal performance of the employee. We will adjust employee salaries and bonuses based on the results and our operational efficiency to ensure fair compensation practices.
Retirement Plan and Benefits
To ensure employees’ retirements are secured, OSE complies with both the Labor Standards Act and the Labor Pension Act of Taiwan, and employees can continue to be covered by the pension regulations of the Labor Standards Act. In this case, OSE will calculate the pension based on seniority and the average monthly wage of last six months before retirement. Every month, OSE contributes 10% of the salary as a worker’s retirement pension, which is deposited at the Bank of Taiwan under the supervisory committee of workers’ retirement reserve fund. Under the new Act, OSE deposit 6% of a worker’s monthly wages into an individual labor pension account managed by the Bureau of Labor Insurance, with ownership going to the worker.
